How to calculate the nozzles QTY that a machine can carry?

For the installation, the final installed nozzles quantity is only related to: machine water flow, and machine pressure you wanted, it means it related to nozzles size, such as 0.15mm nozzles or 0.20mm nozzles, their water flow is big different (37% different).

Also the higher pressure, the nozzles will spray more mist. For example, if you want the FG-150 machine to run with 50bar, it can run with 12pcs to 35pcs 0.15mm nozzles. But if you change to 0.20mm nozzles at 50bar, because 0.20mm nozzles water flow is 37% bigger (spray more mist than 0.15mm), so the nozzles quantity have to reduce to 8pcs to 22pcs. You can check our specification table, we already calculate for you based on the standard of over 50bar.

In another way: When the machine is running with 22pcs 0.20mm nozzles, the pressure will be about 50bar, if you want the machine run at 60bar, you have to reduce the nozzles quantity.

Specification required before calculation:

1.  Machine water flow list (The AC motor at 50HZ and 60HZ has 20% different water flow, because 60HZ motor RPM is 20% faster);

2.  Nozzle water flow list.

Caculation Format:

Each nozzle water flow * Nozzle quantity = Total system spray water flow = Machine real spray water flow "< or =" Machine maximum water flow.

Machine maximum water flow = Machine designed water flow * pump efficiency = Machine real spray water flow + machine safety return water flow (can be 0% if the nozzles quantity are enough installed, you can see the water inside of the pump blue pipe, the pipe under the pressure adjustable valve, if there has water running, it means you can install more nozzles with the same working pressure).

For example, FG-150 is 1.5L/min, FG model efficiency is all about 80%, so the machine maximum water flow is 80%*1.5L = 1.2L, if you check the attached nozzle water flow table, you will find 0.15mm nozzles water flow is 33.5ml at 50bar, so 50bar can maximum carry 1.5*80%*1000/33.5 = 35.8pcs, so we wrote 35pcs as maximum.

The bigger size of the nozzle, each nozzle can spray more angle and more length of the mist (more quantity of the mist), but each mist size will be bigger and people easily in wet. The smaller nozzles are easier to be blocked. They are used for different target.

*  For people cooling: 0.10~0.20mm

*  For park or with wind or very open area: 0.30mm

*  For greenhouse: 0.30~0.50mm

*  For dust control: 0.50~0.70mm

*  For car washer: 3.0~10.0mm

For the nozzles quantity for every model required:

1). Pressure should more than 50bar; otherwise the mist size will be very big. (Mist size is best from 50-60bar, less or higher will make the size bigger and people easier in wet);

2). Nozzles quantity should not too less (usually more than 30% to 50% of the maximum quantity), otherwise the pump will become very hot and broken after few days, for example, we wrote 12~35pcs for FG-150, it means the machine is dangerous if you install less than 12pcs nozzles and run the machine very long time (may be more than 70% high pressure water is running inside of the pump in high speed, and make machine very hot. Of course, for testing in short time, for example, 30min, it doesn't matter at all).

3). Each machine have maximum nozzles quantity to keep system more than 50Bar pressure, for example, the FG-150 can run maximum with 45pcs 0.10mm nozzles, or 35pcs 0.15mm nozzles. The same idea as follows:

*  If you want to calculate how many umbrellas the FG-150 machine can carry:

*  The misting umbrella (each set with 8pcs nozzles) with 8pcs 0.10mm nozzles, it means it can run with 3~5 sets ( 6 sets means 48pcs 0.15mm nozzles, then the pressure will less than 50bar).

*  If the misting umbrella (each set with 8pcs nozzles) with 8pcs 0.15mm nozzles, it means it can run with 2~4 sets.

*  If you still not understand of above calculation ways, please contact me.

The following is the nozzles water flow, machine water flow and the suitable nozzles quantity for each model. It doesn't matter if your installed nozzles quantity is little different with our table, because the machine and nozzles water flow both have tolerance.
